Are you trying to connect your PayPal to Wave Accounting

If you are using PayPal, I strongly recommend connecting it to Wave Apps.  It will make it easier to keep track of your PayPal transactions.

Also, for some reason, many business owners think they don't need to connect their PayPal account.  NOT TRUE!  You need to connect every checking, savings, credit card or payment processing system like PayPal.

Alrighty then.  Let's dig into this.

Step 1:

Scroll down to the bottom of the menu options on the left hand side of the screen.  Click intergrations.

Step 2:

Next, you'll see a list of all the integrations that Wave Accounting offers.  Select PayPal and click Connect.

Step 3:

Next, you are redirected to PayPal.  You may need to log into PayPal.  I'm already logged in.  After logging in you'll be taken to this page.  Go ahead and click on the Grant Permission button.

Step 4:

This is the trickiest part of setting up your PayPal integration with Wave Accounting.  But no worries.  It's not that tricky.  You can do this.

Now you should be seeing a screen similar to the one below in Wave.

1. Go ahead and select the business you want connect to your PayPal account.

2. Enter the name you want to use for the Payment Account.  I recommend PayPal.

3. Enter the date range you want to download from PayPal.

Step 5:

Success!!  Now Wave is importing all the PayPal transactions.  I'd wait a few minutes.  Maybe do another task and come back in 10 or 15 minutes.

But you aren't done yet.

Now the real fun begins.  Now you need to categorize all of those transactions.
